Submit once. Carry it forever.

The verification process takes under ten minutes to start and under 48 hours to complete. Once your file is issued, it belongs to you — you control who sees it and for how long.

You download the Hustla app, upload your South African ID, and sign the consent form. That triggers the five-point check: biometric match against DHA, criminal record from SAPS, address confirmation, work-permit status if applicable, and contact with two of your previous employers for references.

Once all five checks clear, you receive a signed file in your name. That file is your verification — a timestamped, PSiRA-audited document that any employer on the platform can request with your permission. You approve each request individually.

Your file is yours permanently. Hustla does not sell it, does not share it without your consent, and does not revoke it when you stop using the platform. Read our full data ownership policy.
